【摘要】:Thedielectricbreakdownvoltageisameasureoftheabilityofaninsulatingliquidtowithstandelectricalstress.Thepower-frequencybreakdownvoltageofaliquidisreducedbythepresenceofcontaminantssuchascellulosicfibers,conductingparticles,dirt,andwater.Alowresultinthistestmethodindicatesthepresenceofsignificantconcentrationsofoneormoreofthesecontaminantsintheliquidtested.SeeAppendixX1.Ahighbreakdownvoltagemeasuredinthistestmethoddoesnotnecessarilyindicatethattheamountofthecontaminantspresentinaliquidfromwhichthesamplewastakenaresufficientlylowforthesampledliquidtobeacceptableinallelectricalequipment.TestMethodD877isnotsensitivetolowlevelsofthesecontaminants.Breakdowninthistestmethodisdominatedbyeventsoccurringattheelectrodeedges.Thevoltagestressdistributionbetweentheparalleldiskelectrodesusedinthistestmethodarequasi-uniformandthereissubstantialstressconcentrationatthesharpedgesoftheflatdiskfaces.Thistestmethodmaybeusedforevaluationofinsulatingliquidsinequipmentthatisdesignedtobefilledwithunprocessedliquidsasdeliveredbyavendor.Thistestmethodisnotrecommendedforevaluationofthebreakdownvoltageofliquidsusedinequipmentthatrequirestheapplicationofvacuumandfilteringoftheoilbeforebeingplacedintoservice.TestMethodD1816shouldbeusedtodeterminethebreakdownvoltageoffilteredanddegassedliquids.Thistestmethodisusedinlaboratoryorfieldtests.Forfieldbreakdownresultstobecomparabletolaboratoryresults,allcriteriaincludingroomtemperature(20to30x00B0;C)mustbemet.1.1Thistestmethoddescribestwoprocedures,AandB,fordeterminingtheelectricalbreakdownvoltageofinsulatingliquidspecimens.Thebreakdowntestusesacvoltageinthepower-frequencyrangefrom45to65Hz.1.2Thistestmethodisusedtojudgeifthediskelectrodebreakdownvoltagerequirementsaremetforinsulatingliquids,asdeliveredfromthemanufacturer,thathaveneverbeenfilteredordried.SeeSpecificationD3487,SpecificationD4652,andGuideD5222fortheminimumspecifiedelectricalbreakdown.ThistestmethodshouldbeusedasrecommendedbyprofessionalorganizationstandardssuchasIEEEC57.106.1.3LimitationsoftheProcedures1.3.1Thesensitivityofthistestmethodtothegeneralpopulationofcontaminantspresentinaliquidsampledecreasesasappliedtestvoltagesusedinthistestmethodbecomegreaterthanapproximately25kVrms.1.3.2Iftheconcentrationofwaterinthesampleatroomtemperatureislessthan60%ofsaturation,thesensitivityofthistestmethodtothepresenceofwaterisdecreased.ForfurtherinformationrefertoRR:D27-1006.1.3.3Thesuitabilityforthistestmethodhasnotbeendeterminedforaliquid''sviscosityhigherthan900cStat40C.1.4ProcedureApplications1.4.1ProcedureAProcedureAisusedtodeterminethebreakdownvoltageofliquidsinwhichanyinsolublebreakdownproductseasilysettleduringtheintervalbetweentherequiredrepeatedbreakdowntests.Theseliquidsincludepetroleumoils,hydrocarbons,andaskarels(PCB)usedasinsulatingandcoolingliquidsintransformers,cables,andsimilarapparatus.ProcedureAmaybeusedtoobtainthedielectricbreakdownofsiliconefluidasspecifiedinTestMethodsD2225,providedthedischargeenergyintothesampleislessthan20mJ(millijoule)perbreakdownforfiveconsecutivebreakdowns.1.4.2ProcedureBThisprocedureisusedtodeterminethebreakdownvoltageofliquidsinwhichanyinsolublebreakdownproductsdonotcompletelysettlefromthe......
