【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiesrequirementsfortheconstruction,testingandmarkingforGroupⅡelectricalapparatuswithtypeofprotection'n',intendedforuseonlyinareaswhereexplosiveatmospheresofgas,vapourandmistareunlikelytooccuroriftheydooccur,arelikelytodosoinfrequentlyorforashortperiodonly.Thisstandardisapplicabletonon-sparkingelectricalapparatusandalsotoapparatuswithpartsorcircuitsproducingarcsorsparksorhavinghotsurfaceswhich,ifnotprotectedinoneofthewaysspecifiedinthisstandard,couldbecapableofignitingasurroundingexplosiveatmosphere.Anon-incendivecomponentislimitedinusetotheparticularcircuitforwhichithasbeenshowntobenon-ignitioncapableand,therefore,cannotbeseparatelyassessedascomplyingwiththisstandard.ThisstandardisapplicabletoelectricalequipmentandcomponentsofGroupⅡ,Category3G.Suchequipmentisdesignedtobecapableoffunctioninginconformitywiththeoperatingparametersestablishedbythemanufacturerandensuringanormallevelofprotection.Equipmentinthiscategoryensurestherequisitelevelofprotectionduringnormaloperation.NOTE1Inthisstandardtheword'apparatus'hasthesamemeaningastheword'equipment'usedintheDirective.CompliancewiththisEuropeanStandarddoesnotimplyanyremovalof,orloweringof,therequirementsofanyotherEuropeanStandardwithwhichtheelectricalapparatuscomplies.Thisstandardsupplements,andmayenhance,therequirementsforapparatusfornormalindustrialapplications.NOTE2Theapplicationofthisstandardmayrequiretheexerciseofengineeringjudgementbecauseofthewiderangeofapparatusandtechnologiescovered.Ifapparatusistobecertifiedtherelevantrequirementsmayneedtobeagreedbetweenthemanufacturerandthetestingstation.NOTE3ThisstandardmakesseveralspecificreferencestoIEC60079-0.Itisnotintendedthatapparatuswithtypeofprotection"n"shouldcomplywithIEC60079-0initsentirety,orthatthelevelofprotectionachievedbycompliancewiththisstandardshouldbeequaltothelevelofprotectionachievedbycompliancewithIEC60079-0andanyofthetypesofprotectionlistedtherein.
