【摘要】:ThisStandardestablishesmaterial,mechanical,electrical,marking,andtestingrequirementsforbathtubs/whirlpoolbathtubswithdoorsthataremadewatertightbytheuseofapressureseal.Itaddressesthefunctionalperformanceandphysicalcharacteristicsforapressuresealeddoorofabathtub/whirlpoolbathtub.Thedoorisintendedtoallowforentryintothefixturewhenthetubisemptyandtomaintainwatertightnesswhenthetubisfull.Theuseofalternatematerialsormethodsispermitted,providedtheproposedmaterialandmethodcomplieswiththeperformancerequirementsandintentofthisStandard.
