【摘要】:Thesetestmethodscoverthetestingofheat-shrinkabletubingusedforelectricalinsulation.Materialsusedincludepoly(vinylchloride),polyolefins,fluorocarbonpolymers,siliconerubber,andotherplasticorelastomericcompounds.Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsarethestandardexceptfortemperature,whichshallbeexpressedindegreesCelsius.Valuesstatedinparenthesesareforinformationonly.Theproceduresappearinthefollowingsections:Thisisafire-test-responsestandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecifichazardstatements,seeSectionsand.Note1Thesetestmethodsaresimilar,butnotidenticalto,thoseinIEC60684-2(seealsoNote0).Thisisafire-test-responsestandard.Thetestproceduresmeasuretheresistanceofthetubingtoignitionandpropagationofflameafterignitionunderprescribedconditionsoftest.Thisstandardisusedtomeasureanddescribetheresponseofmaterials,products,orassembliestoheatandflameundercontrolledconditions,butdoesnotbyitselfincorporateallfactorsrequiredforfirehazardorfireriskassessmentofthematerials,products,orassembliesunderactualfireconditions.
