【摘要】:Thesetestmethodscoverfire-test-response.Thesefire-test-responsetestmethodsprovideinformationonthetemperaturesrecordedontheelectricalsystemcomponentwithinafire-resistivebarriersystemduringtheperiodofexposure.Thisstandardisusedtomeasureanddescribetheresponseofmaterials,products,orassembliestoheatandflameundercontrolledconditions,butdoesnotbyitselfincorporateallfactorsrequiredforfirehazardorfireriskassessmentofthematerials,products,orassembliesunderactualfireconditions.Potentiallyimportantfactorsandfirecharacteristicsnotaddressedbythesetestmethodsinclude,butarenotlimitedto:Theperformanceofthefire-resistivebarriersystemconstructedwithcomponentsotherthanthosetested.Anevaluationofthefunctionalityoftheelectricalsystemwithinthefire-resistivebarriersystem.Anevaluationoftheampacityoftheelectricalsystemwithinthefire-resistivebarriersystem.Anevaluationofthesmoke,toxicgases,corrosivity,orotherproductsofheating.Ameasurementoftheflamespreadcharacteristicsoverthesurfaceofthefire-resistivebarriersystem.Anevaluationofthrough-penetrationsealingmethods.Combustibilityofmaterialsinthefire-resistivebarriersystemoroftheelectricalsystemcomponents.Theneedforsupportsbeyondthosenormallyrequired.Environmentalconditionsintheareaofservice.Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.TheSIunitsgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
